Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts is a martial arts club that guides their students to achieve their individual goals through world-class instruction in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Thai Kickboxing, Wrestling and Yoga.

Introduction

Welcome to the Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts Academy (SPMA). The two chief instructors are Anthony Perosh and Elvis Sinosic. We also have a number of instructors and assistant instructors who teach at SPMA.

The two styles of martial arts that make up Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts are Machado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a ground fighting system where you will learn how to control an opponent on the ground, armlocks, leglocks, chokes, reversals and escapes. Muay Thai Kickboxing is a stand up system where you will learn how to punch, kick, knee and elbow. SPMA also teaches Wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts and Yoga.

History

Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts (SPMA) traces its origin to 11/8/2000 when Anthony Perosh commenced teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu one day per week at a Kempo school at Kemps Creek. To this day three students who started at Kemps Creek continue to train with SPMA today.

On 1/7/2001 Anthony Perosh took over an existing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Leichhardt, which had 10 students and ran classes 3 days per week out of a church hall. Shortly after this Anthony teamed up with Elvis Sinosic as both of them expressed interest in opening up a full time martial arts school. Anthony and Elvis continued to teach out of both locations for the next 10 months growing the school to about 40 members. In that time they searched for a suitable location to open up a full time school.

Then on 13/5/2002 Anthony and Elvis consolidated the two current locations of Leichhardt and Kemps Creek and moved in to a full time academy at 29A Majors Bay Rd Concord naming it Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts. All 40 students made the move to Concord. Almost three and half years later, SPMA teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Thai Kickboxing, Wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts and Yoga to 310 students.

We are situated in the beautiful harbour side suburb of Concord and the growing outer suburb of Liverpool. We are located in the Majors Bay shopping village and on George Street.
